Our trained health insurance counselors are available to assist by phone and by appointment at our office in Presque Isle. All counselors are highly-skilled and trained to provide support and assistance to Medicare beneficiaries in understanding their plan choices. All Medicare beneficiaries are encouraged to review their plans yearly.
Welcome to Medicare Seminars
Our Welcome to Medicare Seminars offer participants valuable information presented in plain and understandable language. These seminars will cover all of the important basics you need to know as well as options and what plans will cost that may be useful as you make your enrollment decisions. Seminars can be set up in Aroostook communities usually in cooperation with a senior or retiree group, a church group, service club or a business. Contact us and we will help your group, organization or business hold a seminar in your community. Check with us to see if a seminar is scheduled near you.
Prescription Drug Plan Assistance
We offer special help during Medicare Open Enrollment aiding people in selecting the best Medicare Part D prescription drug plan and with plan enrollment. We offer one-on-one assistance by appointment in our Presque Isle office and in community clinics in several County towns. Check with us around October 1st each year for information on clinics in your area and to schedule an appoinjtment to have your drug coverage reviewed.
Time for a Benefits Check Up?
You may be eligible for more public benefits than you are currently receiving. AAAA can help you learn about and apply for programs that can save you money. Benefits may include:
• Maine Rx Plus Program
• Low Cost Drug Program (DEL)
• Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP)
• Food Supplemental Benefits
• Medicare Savings Programs including Qualified Individual-1 (QI-1)
• Specified Low-Income Medicare Beneficiary (SLMB)
• Qualified Medicare Beneficiary (QMB)
